Save Lolita

She is needed by someone.

She can't live her life alone.

She needs to be heard.

But nobody will listen to her.

CHORUS:

Oh we must save Lolita, save Lolita.

Save, save, save...Lolita!

(repeat once)

She is trapped! She is hurt!

She is calling

For your help. "Help!"

CHORUS

We are for her. We'll make a change. We'll save her life from her enemies.

We care for her. We'll make a change. We'll save her life from her enemies.

CHORUS

I

I decided to do an echo on the chorus. That is why you sing the chorus twice. I wanted to have an echo part in my song because whales use echolocation and this song is about an orca whale named Lolita.

I wrote the song “Save Lolita” hoping others would hear the song and change their opinion about Lolita. Maybe they can even teach others about Lolita. The cycle will keep going and Lolita will hopefully be freed and returned to her home in the Puget Sound. There will be a vote on January 24th to decide once and for all if Lolita will be freed . I hope there will be a great deal of inspiration coming from my song, enough inspiration for people to realize what is happening to Lolita, is wrong and she will hopefully go back to her home safely  and be reunited to her pod. Hopefully all whales imprisoned  from now on will be freed, returned to their homes safely, and brought back to their pods to live a happy life again. -- Maya Wurtemberg
